Magnets or pins?

Magnets hold two layers together by pressing rather than piercing, so they leave no holes and cannot snag a fine weave. They are quicker than pinning and easy to reposition while you style. Pins still hold better on very heavy fabric, but for jersey, modal and chiffon a magnet is the safer choice.

Do hijab magnets damage fabric?

No. They grip by pressure instead of piercing, so they leave no holes or pulls, which makes them safer than pins on chiffon and modal.

Are hijab magnets strong enough to hold all day?

Yes. Ours are sized to hold several layers of jersey or chiffon securely through a full day of wear.

Are magnets safe to wear with a pacemaker?

Strong magnets are not recommended near a pacemaker or similar device. Please use pins instead and check with your doctor.

How many magnets do I need?

One holds a standard wrap at the chin. Two or three give more control on layered or draped styles.

Will magnets stick to my phone or bank cards?

They hold to each other rather than loosely to other objects, but store them away from cards and small electronics to be safe.

Can I use magnets on thick fabric?

They work well on jersey, modal and chiffon. On very dense or padded fabric a pin gives a firmer hold.
